Fossil Butte NM – hunt in the cold sagebrush desert and flat-topped ridges to see some of the world's best preserved fossilized fish, insects, plants, reptiles, birds and mammals from an ancient sub-tropical landscape. 

 

Golden Spike National Historic Site - On May 10, 1869, two railroad companies, Union Pacific and Central Pacific, joined 1,776 miles of rail at Promontory Summit, Utah Territory. This event sparked unforetold consequences still reflected in our great nation today.

 

The Great Salt Lake – swim and float off the white sand beaches of Antelope Island. Observe antelope, deer, bobcats, coyotes, birds and some 600 American Bison, introduced to the island in 1893.

       


Yellowstone NP, America's first national park, home to grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Experience Old Faithful’s eruption fist-hand.  See the world's most extraordinary collection of geysers and hot springs. Explore the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Attend an evening fireside ranger-led program to learn more about the wonders of Yellowstone. 

 

Grand Teton NP – see the spectacular landscape rich with majestic mountains, pristine glacial lakes and extraordinary wildlife. See waterfalls, swim in Jenny Lake and take a polar bear plunge in Surprise Lake after an alpine walk half way up Grand Teton.

 

Buffalo Bill Historic Center boasts of five inter-connected museums all under one roof depicting the rich history of the American West, including the life of W.F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody.

          

       

Big Horn Canyon - a diversified landscape of forest, mountains, upland prairie, deep canyons, broad valleys, high desert, lake and wetlands in which to explore nature, wildlife and history.

 

The Oregon – California Trail Center offers a ride on a real wagon train simulating life in the 1850’s. 

 

Pictograph Cave SP - bring your flashlight to explore the mysterious paintings and artifacts found in three caves that contain evidence of habitation dating back over 4,500 years ago. The Pictograph, Middle and Ghost caves were home to generations of prehistoric hunters. Over 30,000 artifacts have been identified from the park.
