More than Just a Summer Camp

"Education does not accomplish anything if it does not stretch your mind, if it does not force you to think about things in new ways, if it does not challenge you to examine some of your assumptions." Provost Jamshed Bharucha of Tufts University

Expand your mind, outlook and have an incredible amount of FUN on an American Wanderer Adventure.

know, even slightly and imperfectly, how to read and enjoy the wonder-book of nature."

A Camp Day

Don’t worry about the 7 am wake up.  We sleep in on days following late night activities like the moonlit walk to Delicate Arch.

Not up for a long walk to a glacier or mountain lake? We break up into small groups; some
play in the hot springs, others explore ghost towns and museums. Every day there is
something new and fun for everyone to do.

Camp is flexible. If you’re out having too much fun and want to do a little extra exploring, no problem. Your group can have a late dinner when you return to camp.  Want to go on a moon-lit hike or to a ranger led park program? You can eat dinner early.
